Unity of the Brethren - Part 1

Unity of the Brethren – Part 1 challenges us to stand firmly on the truth of God's Word while walking in love, humility, and unity with fellow believers who may hold different personal convictions.

In this message, Pastor David teaches from Romans 14, exploring how Christians can remain faithful to Scripture without allowing personal preferences, traditions, or matters of conscience to divide the body of Christ. Through practical examples involving alcohol, tattoos, and entertainment, Pastor David challenges us to examine what God's Word actually says rather than elevating our personal convictions to the level of biblical commandments. We're reminded that biblical unity does not require uniformity, that Christian freedom must be exercised with spiritual discernment, and that understanding our liberty in Christ does not automatically make us spiritually mature. True maturity is demonstrated in how we exercise that freedom and how we treat those who see things differently. As followers of Jesus, we're called to uphold biblical truth without compromise, honor our conscience before God, and extend the same grace and love to our brothers and sisters that Christ has shown us. We can have convictions without condemnation and differences without division.
