Whose Voice Are You Hearing? challenges us to examine the many voices influencing our thoughts, decisions, and spiritual lives—and to learn how to recognize and follow the voice of God.
In this message, Pastor David teaches from John 10, reminding us that Jesus is the Good Shepherd who knows His sheep, speaks to them, and calls them to follow Him. Through Scripture and his personal testimony of God's calling, David explores how the voices of the world, our flesh, and spiritual deception can compete with the leading of the Holy Spirit. We're challenged to test everything we hear against God's Word, examine whether it glorifies Jesus and produces the fruit of the Spirit, and distinguish between conviction that draws us toward Christ and condemnation that pushes us away. As we grow in our relationship with Jesus through prayer, worship, Scripture, and obedience, we become more familiar with His voice and better equipped to follow His direction. Ultimately, spiritual maturity isn't measured by our ability to say that God has spoken to us, but by our willingness to recognize His voice, trust His timing, and obey what He says.
